THE PROCESS
We begin the process by meeting with our clients in their home. We listen to their ideas regarding their dream garden. More specifically, we discuss their lifestyle so that it can be accommodated in the conceptual garden design plan. The possibilities are endless!
Next, we consider the style of the house and existing landscape for special features that can be incorporated into the new conceptual plan. Thereafter, we begin to focus on those factors that help us determine individual plant selection, such as sun exposure, soil, drainage, heights and obstructions. We must also consider view constraints, easements, etc.
Having established much of the specific fixed criteria for the conceptual garden design, we can then pursue creating the fitting design. We incorporate curb appeal, ease of maintenance, and seasonal plant and flower interest.
